SG Carpark Finder

Singapore parking cost calculator

Estimate a single, constant rate before choosing a carpark. This calculator does not handle rate-period changes, public holidays, grace periods, overnight sessions or mixed entry/hourly charges. Enter the applicable rate from the operator’s signs.

How the estimate works

Each started billing block is charged in full: round duration up to the next block, multiply by the block charge, then apply an optional cap. This is an estimate for the rate you enter, not a quote from a parking operator.

Worked examples before you press Estimate

These examples use invented constant tariffs to explain the arithmetic. They are not rates for a named carpark. With a charge of S$0.60 per started 30-minute block, 120 minutes uses four blocks and gives S$2.40. A 121-minute stay uses five started blocks and gives S$3.00. Entering 121 as if it were 120 loses a whole billing block.

If that same hypothetical session has a valid S$2.50 cap, the 121-minute estimate becomes S$2.50. Leave the cap empty unless you have confirmed that it applies to the exact session. A daily cap and a per-entry charge are different rules, and a cap may reset at a boundary that this tool does not model.

When to calculate in separate parts

If a visit starts in an hourly period and ends in an evening per-entry period, this single-rate tool cannot combine those rules. Read the operator's schedule and determine how a crossing session is charged. Similarly, do not subtract a grace period from a longer visit unless the operator explicitly describes that treatment.

For a per-minute tariff, use a one-minute billing block. For a tariff charged per started half hour, use thirty minutes. These inputs describe different charging rules; rounding up to half-hour blocks when the operator prorates by minute would overstate the estimate.

Keep the estimate separate from the final bill

Record your expected entry and exit times, confirm the day type, and check whether the displayed figure includes tax and any minimum charge. Compare two carparks using the same visit duration. Add the expected walk to your planning decision rather than choosing solely on a small price difference.

The authoritative amount is determined by the parking operator's current terms and recorded session. This independent calculation explains one constant tariff and does not make a payment, validate a session or reserve parking. Reviewed on 20 October 2026.
